Shrek’s Adventure! London

Treat the family to a day at Shrek’s Adventure

If you’re a fan of the lovable green ogre Shrek, you’ll adore this walk-through attraction which transports you to a fairytale world with ten family-themed shows and a unique 4D flying bus ride.

Highlights

  • Meet beautiful Cinderella in Shrek’s Swamp
  • Hop on the 4D Magical Tour Bus and start your adventure far, far away, while Donkey shows you some of London’s most famous sites.
  • Lose all sense of direction in the mind-boggling Mirror Maze.

What to see and do

The Bus Depot

The adventure starts in the bus depot where you will meet Shreks’ bride, Princess Fiona, who will welcome you aboard the magical 4D bus. There’s the chance for a sing-song and, in fact, the bus won’t start without it! Audience participation is encouraged throughout Shrek’s Adventure.

Rumplestiltskin’s Carriage

More fun awaits you in Rumplestiltskin’s Carriage. Have a look in the crystal ball and find out your fortune. Ask the sly Esmeraldo for tips on how you can find Shrek and return home.

Meet Puss in Boots in the pub

Everyone’s favourite character is the swashbuckling Puss in Boots, and it will come as no surprise to learn that his fave haunt is in the Poison Apple Pub. Meet Puss and see if you can charm him enough to get him to cough up the secret ingredients of the spell you need to locate the missing Shrek.

Wheel of Fortune or Wheel of Torture?

Next, have fun playing in a rather grizzly game show featuring the Pinocchio, the wooden boy who has difficulty telling the truth. Spin the wheel and see if you get lucky before continuing on your mysterious quest.

The Mirror Maze

Every way seems possible, but every way looks the same. Finding your way through the baffling Mirror Maze is much harder than it looks. Along the way, you’ll meet Sleeping Beauty who may offer you more valuable clues – if she can stay awake long enough that is!

Get busy in the kitchen with the Muffin Man

Learn how to cook up a storm in a cauldron with the help of the charismatic Muffin Man – in fact, it should be noted that all the characters in Shrek’s World are friendly with high levels of infectious enthusiasm, and wholeheartedly throw themselves into the role, resulting in performances that are exuberant and memorable for all the right reasons.

Meet Shrek

One of the final stages sees the devious little Rumpelstiltskin trapping you in a terrifying prison! But a giant ogre is on hand to rescue you – I wonder who that could be?

Trolls – Meet Poppy and Branch

A brand new addition to the attraction, also featuring world-class Dreamworks animation and great sound effects. Young visitors will also have the chance to meet many of Shrek’s other Dreamworks friend, such as Kung Fu Panda and character from How to Train Your Dragon and Madagascar.

Facilities and accessibility

Most of Shrek’s Adventure is wheelchair accessible. However, wheelchair users should be aware that some sections have an uneven surface and a steep incline, such as the Magic Bus.

Pregnant women are not allowed to go on the Magical Bus ride.

There are pleasantly clean toilets, and children are encouraged to use them before the adventure begins.

Security checks are carried out on all visitors before entry.

Children under the age of six may find some elements of the shows frightening. There are also lots of loud noises, bright lights, strong smells, and unexpected occurrences, which may be unsuitable for some children with additional needs.

Pushchairs can be safely parked on the first floor, although bags and coats may not be left unattended.

There is a gift shop where you can buy a range of Dreamworks merchandise. All guests have their photo taken at the start of the attraction and have the opportunity to buy it as a souvenir at the end of the visit.
