WATERLINK WAY

BECK CORRIDOR
The Borough of Bromley has produced a walk pack 'Explore the Beck Corridor' to promote walking through green spaces in Beckenham and West Wickham near the River Beck. A 40 mile network of waymarked footpaths linking open spaces in South East London between Crystal Palace and the Thames, enabling you to follow linear or circular walks. RIDGEWAY: PLUMSTEAD TO ABBEY WOOD
A 3.5 mile linear walk along London’s Ridgeway, a raised footpath along the top of the embankment of Thames Water’s southern outfall sewer. The path also marks the boundary of Thamesmead, the district built from the late 1960s on former marshland to alleviate overcrowding in other parts of the city.
