Enter GREENWICH PARK at the Blackheath or Maze Hill gates and explore the FLOWER GARDENS.

Head towards the OBSERVATORY.
There is a viewing platform in front of the statue of General Wolfe.

Note: there is a charge for access to some parts of the observatory. Suggest you view FLAMSTEED HOUSE and the MERIDIAN BUILDING from outside then go into the rear courtyard to other buildings.

From the large clock outside the courtyard go along the path which follows the observatory wall. This crosses the meridian then passes Observatory Gardens and emerges at The Avenue. Go right heading down to St Mary's Gate. Exit and go left along Nevada Street.
On the left is GREENWICH THEATRE.

Go right at Stockwell Street
The University of Greenwich has new buildings here.

Bear right into Greenwich High Road.
Opposite is ST ALFEGE'S CHURCH by Hawksmoor.

From here you may like to cross and explore the market area (busiest at weekends).

Continue along Romney Road and enter the NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM complex on the right.
Sample some of the museum galleries or view the QUEEN'S HOUSE.

Cross Romney Road outside the museum and continue ahead into the grounds of the OLD ROYAL NAVAL COLLEGE. Go to the right to view the PAINTED HALL and CHAPEL.

You can't miss the magnificent tea clipper CUTTY SARK.

Head for the domed building which allows you to walk through the FOOT TUNNEL under the Thames. When you emerge go into ISLAND GARDENS alongside for views across the river.
